Parts Specialist James Haney awarded Maine DOT Customer Service Award

In September 2026, James Haney was awarded the Customer Service Award from Maine Department of Transportation. This award is an incredible honor as recipients are voted on by their peers. Haney is the first to receive one of Maine DOT’s Core Competency awards as a contracted employee. Presented at the Fleet’s Annual Employee Recognition Day, this award is given to an employee who seeks feedback from internal and external customers, anticipates customer needs, provides quality service to customers, and continuously searches for ways to increase customer satisfaction.

James Haney has been with MANCON for 2 years serving as a Parts Specialist I. Throughout his two years, he has gained extensive knowledge of how to maintain the fleets, going above and beyond researching vendors and parts procurement strategies. Haney takes pride in being able to support Maine DOT’s fleet stating, “It’s amazing that I get to go to work everyday and do what I can for MANCON and my customers”. Since 2018 MANCON has provided Maine DOT with a fully managed Fleet Parts Management program, across six locations, designed to support a geographically dispersed transportation network.

Eggleston's 2026 — June 14, 2026

For more than 15 years, MANCON has proudly supported the annual Eggleston 2026 & 1 Mile Run, Walk & Roll—one of the organization’s signature fundraising events.

We were excited to be part of this year’s event, joining participants, volunteers, and supporters in celebrating inclusion, community, and the incredible work Eggleston does to create meaningful opportunities for adults with disabilities. Proceeds from the event directly support programs that empower individuals and strengthen our communities.

At MANCON, service extends beyond the workplace. We’re proud to stand alongside Eggleston and support their mission of creating opportunities, building connections, and making a lasting impact throughout our community.
